Disclosure Statement

We here at Travel With Monsters write about how, why, and where to travel with kids because we’re passionate about it. We tell each other every day that yes, it’s totally possible to take the kids to Iceland, or the Galapagos, or on a 15-hour road trip…and we want you to believe that, too. As you can imagine, running a website like this comes with expenses and takes a fair amount of time.

One way we can make money to help cover expenses is by the use of affiliate links. This means that in some places, when we link to a product or to a hotel, it takes you to a website where you can purchase the product (or book accommodation), and when you do, we get a little money at no additional cost to you. For example, if you click through to Amazon to look at an awesome travel backpack, and you buy it—or you then click through to a different backpack, and buy that one—we get a little kickback. Many blogs and websites do this, and since this doesn’t cost you anything, it’s a great way to support your favorite blogs.

Here’s our official statement regarding our relationship with Amazon: Travel With Monsters is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com.

We are also a member of the Booking.com affiliate program, which means if you book a hotel stay through one of our Booking.com links we receive a small commission, again at no cost to you. Thank you for using our links!
