On the best of days, most toddlers are a hot mess. Put one one a plane or a road trip and you get…an even bigger hot mess. Traveling with a toddler is a challenge, it’s all kinds of hectic, and it really puts the emphasis on the fact that sometimes when you travel with a family, you’re definitely taking trips instead of vacations.

And yet, just because you have a toddler doesn’t mean you want to stop traveling – or that you should. Quite the contrary, if you have a wanderlust brewing in your soul, why not just go? If you’re going to have a hot mess at home, why not take that hot mess on the road? Just be prepared. Pack extra clothes, wipes, snacks, diapers, treats, entertainment…just pack extra everything. And don’t forget Mr. Fluffles.
